Unveiling a book ‘Yuwa Awaj: Adhar Ra KaryabBhar’ (Youth’s Voice: Base and Responsibility) published by UML-aligned Youth Association Nepal (YAN) here on Sunday, leader Oli argued that the Constitution was a dynamic document and it could be amended anytime. But, ending the transition was the first need of the hour, he maintained.
The former Prime Minister blamed the incumbent government for trying to push other important tasks such as holding elections at three levels on the backburner by emphasising an amendment to the Constitution.
Clarifying that the UML was ready for the Constitution amendment provided it secured the welfare of the public, Oli forewarned that the geographical indivisibility and sovereignty would be at stake due to a revision in the national charter as it was being discussed currently.
