 centers there. The locals took to the streets after the government rolled back its decision to set up integrated service centers in Simara. Also, locals hurled beer bottles and stones at an ambulance in Simara of Bara district on Sunday which injured 2 patients. The situation became tense after the police intervened in the protest. Police fired over two dozen of teargas shells to disperse the
protestors. In turn the locals torched a police post and a motorbike at Simara. The major thoroughfares and education institutions are closed while most vehicles are off the roads.
